Every page an empty ads ("failed to connect...)" that lets me wait some time until I have to click to continue.
Next to un-usable now.
Bye for now, will check back from time to time to see whether it works again.

Same thing for me. Every page I load loads another one on top with some empty ad page. Chrome, IE, FF all with cookies enabled and disabled. No test was successful. Obviously not every single browser's fault heh.

Motorola XOOM 3.0.1 with Stock and Opera Mobile

I highly doubt it has anything to do with OS or browser. More like the site dude...

At start I didn't have any problem but now ads began showing up on almost every page. I have Windows XP, Chrome browser which I tried both with adblock on and off, cookies always enabled for mobilism, had Norton IS, now switched to Kaspersky (just for this reason, has built in adblock) and nothing helps! There is only one thing that prevents the ads (at least for now) and that's Opera browser with adblock turned on. I'm used to Chrome and I would hate to use Opera just to visit this site and Chrome for everything else. I love mobilism so I will still use it even if it gets me angry every 10 seconds but it would be nice to fix this problem.

P.S. Guys, I created a poll here viewtopic.php?f=112&t=190201 to see how many people have this problem and to see how many of you actually click on ads (to see if they even serve the purpose). Go ahead and vote to see how big or small this problem actually is.

I'm using Chrome with the AdBlock plugin, and my cookies are enabled. Still, I get the ad every 3-4 minutes. It's getting tiresome.
I'm okay with a little advertising, but this is ridiculous. How can I get rid of it?

Every. Single. Page.

I have to refresh everytime because it opens that stupid full page blank advertisement.

Just over 2 weeks ago i started having this problem - no problem before that. I am using the latest version of google chrome - with cookies enabled. I also have adblock for google chrome. This does not happen always -sometimes I log on I have no problem - others it happens on every click. I have read thru this section and am now TOTALLY CONFUSED - there seems to be a lot of contradictory advice. When it works this a great forum but now when it acts up I'm afraid i just log off. Can anyone give DEFINITE ADVICE especially to the more computer illiterate of us

With all due respect, I won't be coming here for awhile. Not because I don't appreciate what you guys do or how well you do it, but because I spend more time watching this ad page load than I do actually browsing your site. I'm a lurker mostly and really not a contributor so it's not my place to mooch from you and complain but it's important that you guys know why I'm going to stick with symbiantalk.net for awhile. I hope you guys work this site out in short order but I only have so much time per day to browse and watching ads countdown takes too much time.

Good luck, great site aside from the ads, and many commendations for what you do!

Here is a snapshot of the settings gunggo suggests on my computer running Google Chrome and cookies ARE in fact enabled for this site. I don't know the developers of this script but if you paid them, you are due some support or a refund. I don't know that "good enough" is what you paid for. If it affects anyone adversely, and it does, [especially those of us who have been here since the PPCWarez days 8) ], the script is flawed. I can't understand why good enough ad scripts from gunggo are acceptable to mobilism but poorly configured app posts from members are not. Yes I could donate and I will but ad revenue helps too. Frustrating visitors helps no one.

I notice the gunggo ad appears every 12 hours now. Are they slowly going to increase the frequency further?
Sorry but they are a pain in the butt, and have no right to invade our PC's in this way.
