I'm looking at TV series with french subs and the sites I usually use provide links to RG and Uploaded most of the time....

All movies have hugefiles.net links which dont have the 100mb limit.

Working on it. Hugefiles appears to send files from its IP 5.79.79.155 rather than domain so we'll need to fix some things.

Downloader now forces your browser to save video and ebook files rather than open/stream them from within your browser, even if your browser is configured to open/stream. Many people were complaining that it was streaming or opening and that they didn't know how to change it for their particular browser or set of media players, so we decided that overall it would be in our users' best interests to configure it this way for everyone. If this is not to your liking, please post.

Also unlimitzone.com is now providing us with unlimited bandwidth (like hugefiles).

nizer900 wrote:Great, thanks for the explanation! Tried it and almost works okay.

The issue now is when grabbing shows, it appears to be triggering playing the show (streaming via a flash player) rather than allowing a download. Any thoughts on how to address that?

Thanks!

It's not a flash player, but most likely a browser plugin to play those files. The change mentioned above prevents this from occurring.

Whilst I personally prefer downloading, I can see how people may wish to have this functionality (loading of videos and PDFs in the browser) as it allows them to almost immediately start watching or reading without having the download to have completed. (Also possible to open the partial downloads in a video player). If you want to have this old functionality back let disk4mat or I know, we'll sort it out for you .

Anybody else getting really slow downloads? For me it doesn't matter which file host is selected.

for this site - it's great!

I've been lurking for a couple of weeks, and decided to go Premium VIP.

Disk4Mat was quick to get me set up - now I'm off to play on the forum. :-)

How slow are you talking about? I'm getting decent speeds (given my connection).

If this keeps happening we'll try and fix it.

Speeds from 25 to 45kB/sec regardless of host. What would take a minute or two is now taking half an hour or more.

That is definitely abnormal, however I was unable to replicate this issue. Is it still the same now?
