Hey guys, firstly I want to say thank you to all admins who have helped us noobs out for this year, you guys have a lot of patience and on behalf of everyone who has been helped thank you. Next I have a question, christmas is upon as and things are cheap-ish, so what's the best Windows Phone to mod thus far. I have a Dell Venue Pro and I enjoy it but with a sucky camera and the fact that I can't mod it much, what would you say is my best option in the price range of around $300USD. Thanks guys

My main desires are, Interlop Unlock, really good camera and a physical keyboard. I'm not too fond of on screen ones but if it's my only option, then I'll settle.

Oh! NO US CARRIERS. It must be unlocked. I don't live in the USA and no MicroSIMS only regular simcard slots please.

You might need to google and check if they are available in your country. I can't comment on the price as it varies from country to country.

Well they are both not in my price range. You think HTC is easier to mess around with hacking wise than the other brands?

Well, there are some things that only HTC Phones can do such due to the connection software included, but I find LG the easiest to mess with. With built-in registry editor, you can virtually do anything without unlocking.

Hmmmm I was thinking the same thing when I was going through the threads on XDA forum, but I didn't know what LG model was a good one to get. I knew it's either samsung htc or lg to buy if i wanted to mess around, if u say LG acefire, I trust ur word so ima look into it. What model u think is good. If I can get a couple I'll start looking at the prices.

I think there's only 1 LG phone in the market, LG Optimus 7. But doubt it's for sale now. It's been roughly 2 years since it came out and not sure if it's still in production.

Right now, only HTC phones have the custom DFT roms, etc. Something to keep in mind. Although for me, nothing beats samsung's beautiful Super AMOLED screens. Even on a 2 year old focus, the display is leaps and bounds better than most of the newer phones.

You keep forgetting there are things like amazon.com I don't shop in stores for these phones, and my country won't have them I've found 2 LG models the optimus and the quantum so that makes it 2 LG models and what's the perk of DFT ROMS?

I'm not too sure about DFT roms. I suggest you contact the developer directly and ask him.

DFT Roms, are the only ones, at the moment, that allow you to install a xap directly from the browser on your WP. Means no need for a PC to deploy xaps.
