It's a book about a kid in medievil times who's part of a thieve's guild that wants more out of his life, and ends up becoming an assassin, and all the heartbreak it causes.

Too many favorites. I love mysteries & grew up reading Nancy Drew. I love the cat sitter series, I'm a huge series girl

If you like romance with supernatural in it, Guild Hunter series is amazing. Ilona Andrews' Hidden Legacy is pretty good and Kate Daniels is amazing.
Neil Gaiman is very popular right now. American Gods.
Girl in The Blue Coat is a nice read, got an award and historic.

I read way too much, so I have many favorites. It would be hard to put any one book on top.

However, any book written by L.E. Modesitt Jr. or Lee Child works for me.

I can't choose just one, but my favorite series of all time is Kate Daniels by Ilona Andrews. Individual books are harder to choose. Perhaps Ready Player One, or The Never Ending Story. American Gods by Neil Gaiman is also pretty cool.

My most read so I guess that means my favourite is Damage by Josephine Hart http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/109961.Damage
Not a big fan of fiction but I can easily blast my way through this tragedy in a couple of hours and have done many a time.
