I didn't have any issue installing to my Focus running NoDo. I do have an issue installing the Sims which I may try the tutorial for.

 

I get this Message with the Windows Marketplace Deployer.

Error deploying to the device. It seems to be a licensing problem with the application. I have a unlocked Device with NoDO

Good news! On my side you can find PES 2011 - Pro Evolution Soccer too but there is not the error "required touchxperience 1.3.2.0"! follow my signatur.

Why You took tutorial that I wrote, files that I prepared for this forum and now call people to go to Your web site to download without problem?

I think where the game appears depends on how it was cracked (deblob, fruit ninja and tower bloxx are all in the live area despite being sideloaded). Some of my sideloaded games appear in the Live area while others don't (PES doesn't). I thought it might have something to do with the fact that I installed trials first and then sideloaded but I am pretty sure I installed the trial of PES but it still shows up in 'Other'. Maybe someone with coding skills can shed some light on this.

I am not a fan of this release. it's too buggy. No wrz$.

Also, the excuse of *NODO -only games smaller then 70MB deploy* is completely false. This morning I deployed a 87MB xap without any issues what so ever. Yet i still can't get this particular xap to work.



i'm going to donate some wrz$ to you for your work in putting this together. Although it still doesn't work for me (it deploys but doesn't run), others have reported it works for them.

Can you install the trial version of PES from the marketplace?

The thing about the xap limit is crap, I cracked&deployed some 200 mb (assasin's in fact deploys perfectly and it is that big) games without problems with nodo. Also, my patched version of the PES is the only version available worldwide. I can verify that with just a md5 over the main assembly I cracked.

rwspark - did you have any luck using this method to install sims 3? i've got a focus with nodo as well and it's the only xap I haven't been able to deploy...

yep, PES from the marketplace works fine. It's not a bad game...but the controls could be better.

Try this:

1. Double click the xap file, choose device and deploy
2. Wait until the error appears, the application will retry automatically right?: ok disconnect your phone, and connect it again, zune must be running
3. Quickly unlock the phone screen, click retry if the sending still does not start... that's all. The phone can lock itself while the deployer is in the "sending file" part, that does not matter

I don't know if it is about the way they were cracked; for instance deBlob is not in the live section for me... I also noticed that for some xbox games if you get the trial and then uninstall it using WPDM and then deploy the cracked game, it will appear in the live section. However, I couldn't get it to work with deBlob. I'd really be interested to know if there is a possible fix for this and I would like to test any solution you might think of

If a game appears in the live section there's an entry here in the registry
HKey Current User/Software/Microsoft/GameFoundation/Store/InstalledGame

If it is in the other section it, an entry appears here
HKey Current User/Software/Microsoft/GameFoundation/Store/NonXBLGame

It would probably be as easy as copying the registry value and pasting it in.
I don't have a windows7 PC otherwise I would have already tried.
