I get an invite daily, so if anyone needs one throw me a PM (Just to come clean, it seems that the referrer (me) gets 50% of the value of the invitee's first (possible) top-up. If you don't top-up, your account will be deleted a week after registration).

The two sites, ebookoid and knol.pw look and function uncannily alike. Must be the same people running them, despite the purported change-of-ownership. For all we know, they're run by different members of the same family; which is fine. Just saying that could account for the similarity.

I happened to register soon before knol.pw went the invite-only route - and learned about both it and ebookoid thanks to this thread!! So glad I signed up. Have already downloaded some gems. Also, I find the people at the site are super quick in responding to requests.

One of the things on my wish-list, though… a way to contact them without having only to resort to using the 'problems with the book?' links. I've had a few problems and so have used those links from time to time, but I've had many more occasions when I've been delighted with the item and have wanted to say Thank You. Presently, there's no option for doing that.

Ebookoid is over, it's redirecting now to knowl.pw, which is invitation only. Meh.

Ebookoid actually uses libgen.org/gen.lib.rus.ec database, so everything you can download from ebookoid you can download free without registeration from those sites.
Knol.pw is libgen (Standard collection) + their own database (Exclusive collection).

Those Russian sites are slow [thats if you are lucky to get them to work in first place],
in some cases such as sci-hub block non-Russians which is blatant discrimination,
in others like bookos/bookza are full of malicious virus laden advertising.

On the other hand ebookoid etc has fast speeds and an unparalleled request center where requests actually get done.
Also this site is about 100x better than that steaming pile of russian manure (who just copy from here and ebookoid anyways) for many books.

Between here, ebookoid (or whatever it calls itself) and torrents one can find everything one needs to read for several lifetimes and not get virtual herpies.

Wondering if that was a mistake? ...Only because knol.pw is now unavailable. Same with ebookoid, which I continue to suspect are essentially one and the same.
