Well seems the changeover is done with, my observations:

* Ebookoid now has free download option (that is slow but works it seems) for all books!
* all past ebookoid members were given free 2 weeks all you can read membership :O
* Wishlist and newer exclusives seems to have shifted to knol.pw where its still pay per book at 1/20th the list prices, what little credit I had was transferred

According to ebookoid the site was sold hence the changes.

Hah. I had a list with all the books I wanted to download when the site changed, and surprise, none of them are there anymore. lol
I'll stick to the new site then.

All the good books are gone, whatever is there is found on torrents and other sites. It's not at all worth paying 10USD to read all this. I and my friends, has saved 171 tittles to buy and only 2 of them are available now.

But I really wish they were up front about this. I feel bit deceived. Also, your booklist has disappeared.

They are not gone they are on http://knol.pw

Why do you need to pay 10$? theres a free download link on all entries and all users were given free downloads for 2 weeks.

He meant they are gone from ebookoid. I only found 1 of the 20+ art books I wanted. Why would they be removed?

Oh, and they transferred all the books you bought at ebookoid to knol.pw

but there is nothing there- what we were told initially was that we would get 'all' the books.

The page said we will get 1 million books for 10 dollars a month, we got 1 million books for free
It is incredible that despite such positive developments someone on the internet always finds something to nitpick on :D

You know you could always just go and buy the books...

Ebookoid essentially just offers libgens database which anybody can access for free at libgen.org, gen.lib.rus.ec and other mirrors.
They took all their "own content" which had been added by requests, and moved it to knol.pw.

Interestingly, I've put in over 30 book requests on knol.pw (All available on Kindle), and not a single one of them has been fulfilled (Put in the same day as knol.pw opened).

I never had any issue with ebookoid, but knol.pw might not last long in my faves list. My requests used to be fulfilled rather quickly so I didn't mind paying... but requests are piling up and it seems like you have to search with just the right terms or amount of spaces for things to come up.

It does seem like the site is slightly improving since I can now explore and search by genre. Hopefully the improvements continue. I liked being able to request a book without everyone and their grandmother knowing I asked for it.

All of my ones get done within a day, the trick is to follow the notes at bottom of page, for example entering Kindle ASIN not ISBN and setting to all formats not just PDF

I find knol pricing better for me.
Being 1/20 now I can have my requests and new books for less than the ebookoid 99c no matter what.
Only books that cost more than 20$ will cost more.

Hi, I am new here. Are requests better fulfilled here in Mobilism than on Knol.pw/Ebookoid? How this site works (in regards to requests and fulfillment)? Cheers! :)
