That site is an absolute unique gem on the internet, nowhere else can one put in a request and have it done within a day (usually few hours) and quality is same as Amazon minus DRM.

At first I tried getting credit via their reseller premiumissuer, that took a few hours but worked fine, he had 2-3$ fee for the order
Then I topped up with Amazon giftcard (bought in Walmart) worked fine got 25$ credit for 25$ card in under an hour
Then finally wrapped my head around bitcoins and via coinbase.com send $10 worth of bitcoin, got $20 credit immediately, seems to be automated.

I was wondering before how they do it, got my answer when the funny help page was put up :)

Yes, ebookoid seems really good to me. Almost all my requests have been fulfilled in a few hours, even some for which I had little hope because the kindle version was not available. I got very good pdfs for them. But also the epub or mobi quality is retail, like Amazon.

Who says it doesn't offer PayPal as a mode of payment?

Pay special attention to the last line under "PremiumIssuer.com", the one with the biggest orange tab.

"PremiumIssuer.com" is not listed there anymore :(

It's not listed in night hours (night for me at least, in Europe).
I asked in a message there a few days ago and they answered that PremiumIssuer option is available only in UTC day hours.

Fill out the online "Contact" form, asking Ebookoid to reinstate the "PremiumIssuer.com" payment mode. It has happened to me a few times that that mode had been hidden from public view.

Before the advent of Ebookoid on the internet, there was an immensely popular site called at various times "library.nu", "gigapedia.com", "gigapedia.info". It had five times as many titles as Ebookoid. One didn't need to buy credits. Donations were voluntary. College students, mainly from developing countries, were the main visitors where they could download most of their textbooks.

Nope, I was just asking if the problems were really that bad?

For others wanting to try other sites, I'd recommend ebooks.com, http://www.ebooks.com/, Book Depository http://www.bookdepository.com/and Feedbooks http://www.feedbooks.com/

I just tried ebookoid for the first time and I was pretty nervous that it was a scam. I used the Amazon code method of funding my account.

It took about 40-60 minutes, but the transaction was credited to my account and I ended up purchasing an ebook for .99.

I only filled my account with 2 dollars because I was concerned about legitimacy, but everything worked out fine.

Its still there albeit now 1:1 rate
Code: Select allhttp://ebookoid.com/?m=topup&a=bitcoin

I asked about bitcoin and was told it was rarely used and caused confusion for users hence only Amazon.com giftcards will be accepted going forward, one can buy giftcards with bitcoin on sites such as gyft.com but the above still works fine.

Yes people would have to spend time re-uploading to filehosting sites but that's what will probably happen.
