As the ebook section is a little bit different to the other release sections we have special rules (additionally to the Site Rules)Download Links/Mirrors- When creating a new release [excepted audiobooks due to the filesize] you have to provide at least one mirror from a different file host to allow people who can't access a specific filehost (due to regional limitation e.g.) to download the file as well. IF you want to add a multi-link mirror, you should use one of these as they don't have excessive ads:
- Please use the link provided from the mirroring site as mirror, so that the people have a wide range of mirrors without overfilling your release post.
Allowed file formats- To keep up the quality of the ebook section at least one of the following formats must be included in your main download link:
Only a maximum of 3 files are allowed per archive. You can still add other formats, but not as your main download link.
Examples for your primary download link:
- .MOBI: allowed
- .ePub + .TXT: allowed
- .TXT: not allowed
- .MOBI as primary DL link and .TXT as secondary link: allowed
Mirroring [of already released eBooks]- Mirrors are not allowed as long as the mirror in the main post is working.
Exception:
- Somebody requested a link to a file host that is not in the mirror list and the OP cannot provide it.
- Somebody requested a different file format and the OP cannot provide it.
- Unrequested mirrors are NOT allowed. No exceptions.
- Requested mirrors must have the requesting post quoted in the mirror post.
- Mirrors should ONLY have the same titles as are in the original post - no more, no less
Dead link requests- Please PM the ORIGINAL POSTER with re-up requests
- If you do not get a reply within few days you can request a new link from other users by replying to the topic, explaining you received no response from the Original Poster.
