Overview: The characters are over the top stereotypes with a dash of realism thrown in but that added to the humour of the book. Sure reading about a successful 40 something business woman who is just longing for a man in her life to complete her - well thought I was going to roll my eyes at that but it was handled well. Even though it would make a change to read about a man longing for a woman -lol. Plus add elements of the David and Goliath with Lamont and Jethro and all the other small town action and you get a great book about church life and small town politics.
