The story centres around a boy called Jason (who does not want to become a vampire) and Anderes (a vampire who is trying to protect Jason). In a future world most of the vampires want to wipe out the humans. However, some of the vampires recognise that they need humans to survive so they are trying to fight for them. The result is a war.
