And finally, if you can, face the terrors that lurk in your own heart, and in your dreams.

4.The Muses by: Robert Shearman, Gareth Roberts, Tara Samms, Simon Guerrier, Sarah Groenewegen, Ian Potter, Simon A.Forward, Steve Lyons, and Justin Richards.
Tell me, O Muse, of that many-aspected hero who fled his home world to travel every corner of time and space. Tell me, daughter of Jove, of his battles and his tragedies, of the strangers he encountered and the evil plots he foiled. Speak with laughter, with tears, through songs and visions of the Doctor, the hero and champion of this world and many more.

Once, we believed our lives were sacred, that we had souls. Now we know we are mere machines; genetic data. We are science. But even as we learn, the properties of life remain uncertain. How does life acquire consciousness, or rights? Does a robot dream? If a person transforms into an oak tree, is it science or the work of gods? Did the Victorians find a way to resurrect the dead?

8.Repercussions by: Ian McLaughlin, Claire Bartlett, Trevor Baxendale, Colin Brake, Peter Anghelides, andy Frankham, Shaun Lyon, Jon de Burgh Miller, Sarah Groenewegen, Trey Korte, Eddie Robson, Todd Green, Andy Russell. Andrew Collins, Kathryn Sullivan, Mark Michalowski, Joseph Lidster, and Gary Russell.
All across the universe, the Doctor is hailed as a hero, a benevolent force, the man who fights the monsters, topples the dictators and frees the oppressed. Repercussions demonstrates an alternative side to this. What if, whilst doing these good, even great, deeds, the Doctor is unwittingly changing the Web of Time. Giving people knowledge they're not supposed to have. Empowering races that should have remained in the dark ages. Overthrowing the evil that, had it continued to flourish, might ultimately have brought together a greater force of good to eradicate itself.

9.Monsters by: Ian Mond, Danny Oz, Jim Mortimore, Marc Platt, Stephen Hatcher, Matt Grady, Samantha Baker, Simon Guerrier, Joseph Lidster, Anthony Keetch, Jacqueline Rayner, and Steve Lyons.
Whether made of flesh and bone, or created in the deep recesses of the mind, monsters are terrible things. They hunt, they chase, they stalk. They don't stop and they don't listen to your pleas. They come after you in the night, when you least expect it; they invade your world when all seems safe. Monsters features stories that tell tale of such beasts: some real, some imaginary, some alien, some homegrown.

10.2040 by: Richard Slater, Tara Samms, Huw Wilkins, Lance Parkin, Andy Campbell, Xanna Eve Chown, Matthew Griffiths, Kate Orman, alexander Leithes, Gareth Wigmore, Marc Platt, Rebecca Levene, Jacqueline Rayner and John Binns.
The future is here and it's not what we expected. To the governments and corporations of the world in 2040, expansion is an article of faith. The human race must expand outwards, exploring new territories, new technologies, new ways of thinking. Only problem is, the human race doesn't necessarily share that faith. And with so much at stake, our leaders may have to call in some new partners to make sure we see the light.

11.A Christmas Treasury by: Simon Guerrier, Nick Wallace, Val Douglas, Peter Adamson, Dave Stone, Peter Anghelides, Marc Platt, Darren Sellars, Mark Michalowski, Neil Perryman, Stephen Fewell, Paul Beardsley, Terrance dicks, Jonathon Morris, Andy Campbell, Ian Potter, Shaun Lyon, Martin Day, Steve Lyons, Jackie Marshall, Cavin Scott, Mark Wright, Karen Dunn, and Stephen Cole.

From heartwarming to heartbreaking, witty pastiches to chilling ghost stories, these tales are the perfect seasonal journey into time and space.

12.Seven Deadly Sins by: Gareth Wigmore, Mark Wright, Tara Samms, Paul Magrs, John Binns, David Bailey, Rebecca Levene, and Jacqueline Rayner.
The darker side of human nature is a terrible place. Its twisted pathways and dismal corners lie ready to lead even the most virtuous traveller astray. And when someone makes just one wrong step, the darkness is quick to close in and engulf them. Between these covers, you will find seven tales of vice, exploring the dark places at the edge of the universe. The Doctor tries to stand against the tide, to bring even a chink of light, of hope, but what good is it when he cannot even save himself from the seven deadly sins? Alone, these seven stories tell terrible tales of misadventure, misdeed and misery together, they reveal an even darker story.

13.A Day in the Life by: Andy Russell, Danny Oz, Gary Merchant, Nev fountain, Ian Farrington, Den Abnett, Ian Mond, Richard Salter, Xanna Eve chown, Phil Pascoe, Trevor Baxendale, Alison Jacobs, Simon Guerrier, Matthew Griffiths, Joseph Lidster, Eddie Robson, and Rebecca Levene.
When you're time travellers, the concept of a day from midnight to midnight can get lost: the Doctor and his companions arrive on different planets in different eras at different times of the day. They can show up during someone's lunch break or when they're asleep, at the breaking of dawn or the coming of night. Throughout his adventures, the Doctor meets many people — security guards on a night shift, mysterious space travellers riding the vortex, mobs of blobby Kobolds, a family sitting down to watch .T.V. but all too often their interaction is brief, a fleeting connection in the web of history. Time it seems, is very much of the essence.

A star like many others in the western spire of the Milky Way galaxy. Around it, orbit its planets — each one has its own environment; its own history; its own circumstances. Christmas is a time for many things. For family and old acquaintances. For giving, for receiving, for feasts and celebration. For huddling round the warmth of the fire, sheltered from the dark and the cold outside. And the monsters.
It's also the busiest time of year for the mysterious Doctor, whether he's caught-up in the violence of ancient Rome, taking Leonardo da Vinci on a day-trip to the stars, or popping in on the very first Christmas on the moon.

It's a good job he never sticks around for long afterwards. And yet, for all that the universe may be infinite, for all he keeps moving, the Doctor can't outrun the consequences forever.

It is believed that there are magnetic energies whose lines intersect in Prague at several spots. Astronomy, astrology, numerology and magnetic forces have all played a role in building the city but how will they influence its future? This is the city rich in history, and full of potential how will it adapt over the centuries to come? Will it have a glamorous rebirth or wallow in a dystopic nightmare? And what will be the role of the old superstitions in the new world? For the Doctor and his companions, the answers to these questions are only just the start of further mysteries.

Christmas. A time for home. For family. For laughter. Everybody has special memories of Christmas but for others it brings shadows of things that should not have been. Unearthly visitors who open their eyes to new worlds and new experiences. Pantomime coats, robot dogs and a big blue box parked beneath the Christmas tree. Some think these fleeting guests are apparitions. Some think they are angels. Some think they are demons. But all know that Christmas will never be the same again. The Doctor and his companions travel to Christmas Past, Christmas Present and those Christmases Yet to Come. They bring festive laughter and Yuletide joy, creeping dread and screaming horror, slipping in and out of time like the ghosts of Christmas. Christmas. A time for terror. For fear. For ghosts.

The known universe is home to countless trillions of lives, all interweaving with each other and affecting the line of history. When someone makes a decision, no matter how significant or seemingly irrelevant, they cause unknown effects throughout the ages. Perhaps other, unreachable, factors are at play too: does the universe have a destiny? Are we all predetermined to follow a particular path? Do we reap what we sow or is it a case of what will be will be? Are coincidences really just that, or do we miss their deeper meanings? Everywhere he looks, the Doctor sees the same patterns , the same events, decisions and actions cropping up again and again. Look at the bigger picture, however, and maybe, just maybe, you'll see how the universe works. How the universe lives. But, as the Doctor and his companions discover, are these patterns really there? Or do we, by the very nature of seeing them, define them?

King Loran of Zalezna is dead, the victim of an attempted coup. However, with the help of the Eighth Doctor, Loran's son and heir, Mihal, is able to stop the rebels and claim the throne. Now Mihal faces the prospect of ruling before he's ready. By way of helping Mihal prepare for his new role, the Doctor tells him of the many leaders he's met over the course of his lives. Join the Doctor as he regales Prince Mihal with stories from throughout time and space. There are tales of the Roman Empire, from Emperor Theodoric to rebels Spartacus and Calpurnia to Rome's enemy Queen Boudica. There's King Arthur and Plato as they've never been seen before, Martin Luther and King Henry VIII in the midst of rewriting Europe's religious landscape and an unexpected side of William Wallace. The Doctor also travels to such exotic worlds as Rishik and Mitidiki, and arrives at a deceptively mundane department store. Leadership comes in many forms. Some are unexpected, some are less pleasant than you'd think and some aren't quite what history would later paint them to be.

If you lost the ability to communicate, what would your life be like? Messages, and the media we use to convey them, surround us every minute of every day. Some are meant for us alone, while others are intended to reach the widest possible audience. Some transmissions are intercepted by unintended recipients and never reach their destination. Others get corrupted along the way. The Doctor knows how important it is to be understood. Whether he is striving to cure a disease that turns words into gibberish, responding to an SOS from the end of time, or unravelling secret messages encoded into the genetic sequences that make up life itself, this is one Time Lord who always knows how to make himself heard. Listen up. Get the message. Keep this frequency clear.
