Thanks for the quick reply "nokia670819"
actually i downloaded all the database files that i required and did wwhat was written in the 1st post
but Lexicomp wants me to update even those files which are in LEXI folder, thats why i posted.
Referring to above post what
yamilrx has said is absolutely correct.
Let me ask you what exactly the problem is? Is it when you hit the Update tab, the download size of the databases are large, even though you have all the files completely downloaded from the posted links?or
when you try to open Calc, Ivcompatibility etc. They say " The database needs to be Updated before use".
Are you able to view all other databases in the "Library" tab? (i.e. are there other titles in "Library" other than History, Notes & Other Databases available?) Which phone you are using?
Does your phone has these storages: Internal Memory, Internal SD Card, External SD Card?(Answer all the questions asked for better result, think as it is your Viva Voce in exam

)
If Yes then you have to look for the folder lexi in Internal SD Card, not the external Sd card (which is removable), Generally the "lexi" folder is created automatically when you launch the app for the first time & you select "Sd Card" as the option. So I would suggest you to look for the folder in Internal Sd Card & copy all the databases as per instructions of the first post, which I have attached for your convenience. nokia670819 wrote:
Very Important please read this:
How to use Database Files:
1. Download the required Database/module .zip file on your PC from below links.
2. Extract the dowloaded .zip file on PC.
3. After extracting the zip file, you will get a folder(containing the media{sounds, images etc.} files of the respective databases), a .db & may or may not be a .tmp file.
3. Now in your Phone, make folder named "lexi" (without quotes) inside your SD Card.
2. Inside "lexi" create another folder with name "media"(without quotes).
3. It should look like SD Card>lexi>media.
5. Copy the .db & .tmp files in "lexi".
6. & then copy extracted folder in "media" )
If all these done correctly then you will be able to see all the databases in the "Library" tab of your lexi app. & you can browse their content.
Give details of your problem for further clarification.
Hope the above instructions are helpful.

You only update and place a check in the box for the files you want to get the update or if you want the entire file if you don't already have it. I didn't care for the dental stuff but I have the option to place a check and it will download that particular entire file otherwise it does a small update to the ones you already have and want to keep updated. It has worked flawlessly for the first time ever. Thanks again nokia670819 I use this program daily in the hospital.
Thanks for the clarification buddy. But I think the problem might be something else. Lets see if can help.
Glad its so useful for you.
