The Skyscape app updated yesterday on Playstore v 2.2.1 fixes the force close issue
it is safe to update the app now, it also connects to keyserver

Internet is a luxury here in Nepal, It was only rarely I forgot to turn Wifi off while using Skyscape which inadvertently locked the resources on my Android Phone.

But I tried the Static IP method and failed to connect to Keyserver on iPad, will try again..If I can install it it on my iPad, then it would be a boon in disguise,,will try it now..

No you do not need jailbreak to connect to keyserver
but you get firewall only with jailbreak
so you will have to disconnect the internet before launching the app on iOS device.

Nope, Couldn't connect skyscape with keyserver on iPad following the same steps of Static IP as in Android.

Am I missing a step. I'm not Jailbroken.

Please enumerate a bit more.

Keyserver app gives you tips on how to connect.
Remember:
-Static IP on Android/iOS device with correct address on IP and DNS
-Disable on PC all firewalls (externals and/or built-in Windows firewall), when finished you can re-enable them.
-Sync to unlock your resources.

After 18 months of buying iPAD i was finally able to install Skyscape. Now it feels in par with Android as a Study Tool.

I found the problem. Both my Android and iOS devices are not rooted.
For all those having trouble with connecting Skyscape with Keyserver, Go to task Manager click "M" and find and kill any malware services. That should do the job.

PM me if you still have problems. I would be delighted to help anyone step by step.

as actually when I tried it i see in the key server "requesting update for unknown product", & none of my databases were updated

Try to disconnect from the internet...uninstall the resource from Mobile skyscape app.....Remove the same resource from the Laptop keyserver..THEN .reconnect device to laptop using keyserver...and reinstall the required resource

can't download "Mosby's diagnostic and laboratory test reference (v18.0.0, 2015.10.6)"
the resource is not showing in mobile application add resources, although checked in the key server
