The Midnight Bear Express: Cody Langley is a broke college student who wants to do something nice for his niece and nephew for the holidays. Before New Year’s, he decides to take them to Treasure Bears, a toy workshop which allows children to build and customize their own personal stuffed toy. With some prep and warning from his sister, Cody takes the kids to the mall and hopes the adventure will go smoothly.
Inside the loud and overbearing store, Cody soon sees something catch his eye: a sales clerk with dark hair, broad shoulders, and a bit of a beard. Taggart, a sales associate, is Cody’s perfect type. But before Cody can make a good first impression on Tag, his nephew Cameron decides to have a tantrum in the middle of the store.
Unprepared and embarrassed, Cody’s not sure what to do. That’s where Taggart, who’s had more than enough experience with kids, saves the day. To get Cameron to cooperate, Tag tells him about the Midnight Bear Express: a train full of stuffed bears who will fill up any empty bear-skin during the night. The story wows Cameron just enough to calm him down and get him out of the store without any more issues. The story also allows for Tag and Cody to meet up again later that night, to grab the toy Cameron leaves behind.
But after their evening is done, Cody wonders about his role in Taggart’s story. Will Cody get his very own boyfriend from the bear express, or will he be left out in the cold on New Year’s again?

Born This Way: Jacob Matthews has gotten really sick of confessing his autobiography every time he meets someone new. Ever since coming out as a gay transgender man, Jacob feels as if no one really cares about who he is right now. Instead, they would much rather have access to his past and create another Lifetime movie out of it. The typical transgender narrative, Jacob notes, always ends in surgery or tragedy. It’s been two years since Jacob’s crossed the final marker to become who he is, and he’s running out of options of what to do next.
The only way that Jacob can overcome his own backstory is by blending in. Every Tuesday Night, he heads out to the local gay club called Boy Division and watches gay men from the sidelines. But when Jacob hooks up with a stranger who understands him with just a simple look, Jacob soon realizes that blending into the walls no longer satisfies him.
Jacob soon runs into his old friends at the LGBT community center, where he is forced to reconsider his life beyond rainbow colors and poppy disco beats. In group therapy, Jacob is confronted by the harsh realities of being transgender, hate crime violence, and the dwindling offers for his future. Just before Jacob leaves, his favorite doctor makes him a bet: if Jacob can find someone to connect to, then she will renew his testosterone prescription without question or qualm. She urges him to find some type of community, even if it’s not in the community center’s brightly painted walls.
Jacob takes the bet, figuring he has nothing to lose but his happy ending that may -- or may not -- really exist. He becomes determined to find the mystery man from the club again, even if it means blowing his cover.

Midnight Swim: Devon Landry works nights at a tech company and goes to gym during the day. During one of his workouts, Devon spots a mysterious man swimming in the pool alone. Later in the change room, the man introduces himself to Devon as Wolf, a friend of the gym’s owner. When Wolf invites Devon for a midnight swim after hours, Devon must call in sick for work and completely change his schedule, or risk missing out on a mysterious offer with other implications beyond learning how to swim.
Before their date, Devon pieces together facts about Wolf, who is really Sebastian Thibodaux, a former Olympic hopeful who dropped out when he got cancer in his twenties. Now older and cancer-free, he swims alone in the gym’s pool as if to relive his old days. From the old press photos Devin finds of Wolf with young male escorts, he’s relieved to find he is precisely Wolf’s type.
At midnight, both men meet and test the boundaries of their routines, bodies, and perceptions. As Devon relinquishes his control, his new adventure with Wolf grows more exciting than he ever could imagine.

Don't Forget About Me: After Shawn Connors returns from the war, he's facing life with an injured leg and a changed perspective on what it really means to be a solider and to fall in love.
Shawn Connors had no illusions about the war. But after injuring his leg in a blast, he goes home to his sister's in Maine and isn't prepared for the reality of his return. As everyone around him gets married, promoted, or moves on with their lives, Shawn is left drinking alone at a bar on a Thursday night. His best friend had warned him that life after deployment would start to feel like a high school reunion, but as Shawn meets a stranger at the bar, he begins to think that his life is more like a high school movie instead.

The Imposter: Tyler is one day away from defending his PhD. Five years of concentrated and dedicated studying have come down to this moment, and he couldn't be more stressed out. After finding small errors in his dissertation, he feels utterly powerless and calls his boyfriend Jon for support.
After lending a sympathetic ear, Jon suddenly turns into the dominating and aggressive partner Tyler has come to love. Jon demands Tyler to come meet him at home, where Tyler will be put in his place. When Tyler arrives, he is bound to a chair and then masked -- like the impostor he already feels like he is.
Will giving into Jon's desires allow Tyler to de-stress enough and pass his defense? Or will Jon's sudden name-calling be too much for Tyler to handle?

Plato for Plumbers (PDF): The week before an important philosophy conference, Kenneth is struggling to finish both the last chapter of his book and the paper he's writing for the event. His efforts are thwarted by a leaky faucet—and his life as a whole is turned upside down by the plumber who shows up to fix it.

Friends with Benefits: When stock boy Devon Gangon finds out he has to train a new employee at the grocery store where he works, Jace Perez is not what he expected. Jace is shy but talkative about all the right things, including Devon’s favourite punk band, Nine Volt Start. Over the course of a few weeks, they become closer and closer, and their stray touches finally build up to a tryst in the back room.
Nine Volt Start announces a reunion tour, and Devon thinks Jace is the perfect person to go with him. But Jace tells him he’d much rather keep his work and personal life separate and leaves Devon in the cold. With Jace drawing a line, Devon’s left wondering if spending his time idolizing a band and not doing anything with his art degree has been worthwhile. He’ll be twenty-nine in less than a month and hasn’t had a serious relationship in years.
Leaning on his brother and best friend for support, Devon realizes he either has to settle for random hook-ups with Jace or push for something more, even if it may hurt in the end.

The Spectator: Regina is used to getting what she wants. When she meets Shane, the brooding art school grad turned ad exec at her PR firm, the two fall in love and get married right away. But five years into their marriage, Shane's frustrations only seem to grow and Regina tries everything to mend the relationship -- new sex, vacation time, and long nights discussing their future.
Finally, when Regina suggests a threesome, everything seems to click. Shane surprises her when he says he wants to explore his bisexual side by inviting a man into their bed.
Together they frequent downtown Toronto and Regina's night classes to see if they can find the perfect man to join them.
When they meet a blond, Adonis-like stranger, they think everything's set. So why is Shane suddenly getting cold feet?
