They’re starting to make their own marks on the world — and they sometimes make physical marks on people. Bad people. Evil people. Stupid people who don’t realize that trying to kill Colin Greystone is an engraved invitation for Nikolai Markov to practice his knife skills.
Of course, teenagers will be teenagers, and dodging bullets and assassins is nothing compared to the frightening reality of being in love. Damon gets the ‘friends’ treatment, Nico and Hunter get the silent treatment, and Katiana gets medical treatment. Phoebe says she loves Stefan, but does she really? She’s certainly always ready to believe the worst about him. Sergio is back with a vengeance — and a fear worse than facing down death.
