Luna whimpered, “Beckett?”
Police officers jerked him by the arms to a standing position. He said, “I’m sorry. I’m coming for you, don’t worry, please don’t worry. It’s going to be okay, stay safe.” He was pulled down the dock and away.
Luna and Beckett can finally be together, on land, but they didn't count all the things that were left undone — things that threaten to derail their lives, and though they have stepped foot on land, safe, they may be in more danger than ever before.
