Emeraldsky is a datajacker, one of the best at stealing corporate secrets. He’s hired the zonewarrior Steel-Or to protect him while he makes a dangerous run. When things go bad Steel-Or finds himself in the position of taking care of an injured Emeraldsky. Torn between the need for money, memories of the datajacker, and the desire to look out for number One, Steel-Or has to decide: does he take the money and run, or protect the only man he ever loved, even if Emeraldsky might not love him back.

The pair find themselves mutually attracted and give in to temptation after they conclude their mission successfully. But attractions like theirs aren’t approved of in their line of work, and Jin cuts Damon off immediately.
Unfortunately, being an operative for the Organization isn't a safe profession and Jin vanishes without a trace. Now it's up to Damon to find Jin, the man he’s fallen in love with, and rescue him from his captors… if he isn't already dead.
4. Mercy Kill: Shattered Melody
Three men were in prison for a crime that they freely admitted, but there were extenuating circumstances that compelled them to commit such heinous acts. These men are members of the rock group Mercy Kill who, beyond any of their understanding, have lost the handler of their group and subsequently everything else that they hold dear. The leader of the band begins to explain to their assigned lawyer the sequence of events that led them to their present day circumstances.
Mercy Kill was performing a concert when they realized that there was a drama unfolding off stage where a strange man was scaring their handler Kita. Takeshi, Akira and Juro quickly came to Kita’s defense. In spite of their efforts, Kita was killed and Juro gravely injured leaving Takeshi and Akira to deal with the fallout. The worst part is when they are accused of killing Kita and grilled for hours this causing Akira to almost have a breakdown. As Akira, Takeshi, and later Juro begin to delve into Kita’s death, they meet road blocks from not only the police, but their own record company. Who is to blame for Kita’s death and why are the police fighting them at every turn? The love between all the members and Kita compels them onward, but soon they begin to find out that there is much more at stake, but are they strong enough to solve the mystery before they also become victims?

Prince Raphael d’Alleven flees for his life after his family is murdered and the government of Alleven is taken over. Exhausted and unable to find a way off world, Raphael literally runs into his best hope for salvation: a genetically engineered soldier named Hadrian Ice. Ice hadn’t planned on taking service with anyone, but understanding the predicament Raphael finds himself in, Ice is unable to turn him away.
With bounty hunters on their trail and Vicount Alfonso Macchoine, scion of the House responsible for the coup, joining the hunt, it will take all of their combined skills to restore the government of Alleven to its rightful ruler, Raphael’s missing twin sister, Raphaella. As long as they don’t get killed first.
