Overview: Old Father Brion has been a priest at the Church of the Wood for what feels like forever when he comes across the faerie child and is suddenly faced with a choice, a choice that will have consequences for an entire land of people, reaching even to the king himself, and setting in motion a series of events that will either redeem the aged priest’s checkered past or make it live in infamy.
The faerie is the kind of creature that people make tales about; one of the mysterious race of beings that used to live in Calundra’s many woods. People say that the faeries were evil and that they hated humankind. Because of this, the once endless woods of Calundra are all gone now. The kings of the land have cut them down, one by one. Still, there is a tale about one that was left behind: a deep dark Wood with a Church in it, and a Village just outside.
