Simon Packer faces a choice. He can become the Earth's only superhero, but if he accepts the gift, the power will kill him in no more than three years. The second part of the life and death of Simon Packer. In part 1, he chose to become a superhero (the world's first and only), knowing that he would have only three years to live if he did. Part 2 begins just as he saves Los Angeles from a terrorist plot and his presence becomes know to all. Now, working with his LAPD friend, he has two years to change the world for the better.
