I've been googling in the last few days the issues about sending copied books to a kindle email account or USB transfer. Is it safe? do Amazon monitor Emails and Kindle content for legality? would it be unwise to email pirate content to the Kindle via the email account or is USB safer or no safer? What do you guys do?

Not sure about Amazon monitoring anything although I would assume they don't.

The easiest way to transfer books to your Kindle is through the USB. Just drag and drop the .mobi into the proper folder and bam, you're done.

How would amazon know if the book was pirated? I can, and do, BUY books from other sites, load them into Calibre, and email them to my Kindle over the wireless. I add books gotten here to my Kindle the same way. Amazon would have no way of knowing where the books came from.
