I wasn't fond of books with Alpha Males heroes in general until I started reading Kristen Ashley books, but now i am beginning to love them. Lora Leigh writes some good ones but Sherrilyn Kenyons league series is my favorite right now.

I think it all depends on your style preference but Lynda Chance, Nalini Singh and Christine Feehan definitely have that alpha male thing down. Mostly Lynda...her heroes are more Alpha than anyone else and super possessive.

And Marco's Redemption by Lynda Chance.. And if you like fantasy.. I recommend Fae Chronicles by Amelia Hutchins.. The hero in this one is alpha and possessive as well.

If you like paranormal romance, the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward will give you a good dose of alpha male.

I think alpha males work in books only. In real life, they would be supremely annoying. I mean, I love reading about them, but I'd never date one. Lol.

Alpha male H's are cool. But it depends on the character. I read some books that have alpha male characters but are total jerks and a**holes. But I like alpha male H's who are totally head over heals in love with the heroine. Teehee... ,(*^﹏^*)
