Only root:
1. Install and activate XPOSED frameworks. (if you already have it skip this step).
2. uninstall Spotify
3. Install TM, enter Installer XPOSED, activate the module.
4. reboot
5. Install the new Spotify

Is Spotify blocked by your country or is spotify not available to use?
If spotify tells you that your country is not supported ... look in the tutorial i linked above.
There is a link for using spotify in unsupported countries.

For the last Spotify updated, if I use Extra Good Perfomance into Settings no song plays.
