I'd like to chime in with my +1, but also add a bit more detail:

It would be great if the preference to only display certain forums could take effect for RSS as well, kind of like a personalized RSS.
I run several phpbb2 boards myself, and there is a mod called "Smartfeed" that could do this. It basically sits on top of the board and requires no editing of existing files but honors all permissons, i.e. not registered users can only see "public" boards and registered users can get a completey customized feed. Please have a look here: http://phpbbservices.com/smartfeed/ - this would be the perfect addition for Mobilize.

Does anyone read these threads? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, make the RSS more customizeable! I don't need to sift through all that porno crap additionally, and I'm aleady a member of premium private tracker sites for movies in general.

@p0ly

First thanks for your work with the feed!

Using that for some weeks now. But i still have an annoying problem. Already read feed posts become unread again, or get posted again. Don't know.
But this only happens with your feed. So my feed reader is not the fault :(

P.S. No need to go to other sites for what the forum offers. Just open the forum you want and replace viewforum with feed.
P.P.S. There seems to be problems with some of the RSS Feeds ATM but hopefully the site admins will fix them soon.

The RSS Feed was temporarily turned off on March 31st. I'm not sure it will be turned on again as it mostly just causes problems.

Could someone elaborate on "it was turned off" somewhere? Maybe a bit more about why, what the problems are, and the thinking behind it? As a long time user of the RSS feeds, it was a little jarring to suddenly have them just stop working and then find out why after having to search the boards for some mention.

Personally, I follow a lot of disparate sources all day, RSS being the way that I keep track of it all. I can't be the only one who makes extensive use of something like this.

TIA.

I'm sorry to hear that, the books section (which interests me the most) was very easy to follow with feeds, in the only sections I wanted. Manually will be quite difficult. I hope you people will find a way to turn it back on. Thanks for answering, though.
