Suggestions and feedback for Mobilism.

I noticed this site can also be accessed using https, which is a good thing imo, and I would like to use it that way, but the premium download arrows seem to disappear, at least in my browser (Firefox). I think that this is because the actual arrow picture is coming from a http connection, which gets blocked for being "insecure". But since the image is in fact also available over https, it would just need the link to it to be changed (iirc, a change from "http://" to "//" [eg. src="//images.mobilism.org/premiumpc/download.gif"] serves whichever protocol was requested). I'm probably not making any sense. But it would be great if it could be done? :D

That's not really how it works. The https protocol is designed in a way that makes it not very compatible with the javascript from a different domain that we use for the downloader.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Do you mean you have no control over the contents of premium.js? I made a mockup with 'button.setAttribute("src","//images.mobilism.org/premiumpc/download.gif");', which seems to work, but obviously that's a very limited test.
It was just an idea, brought on by the draconian laws to be enacted here in the UK shortly -- ISPs to keep records of all browsing, ten years in prison for file sharing, etc. :)
