Why are the uploads on some duck or fileshare (which closed down also) crap site? http://www.multiupload.nl/ allows you to upload the same file at the same time to 6 different places. SIX! And if you want to continue with the duck or the fileshare, that would make it a total of 8 places that your file is stored.

Get with the times Mobilisim.....

Also for me it's not accessible. It redirects to multiupload.at (for me) and so, it's down for me.

If i have to recommend one, http://www.mirrorcreator.com/ would be my choice. But not linked to the site. Why? If http://www.mirrorcreator.com/ gets down, all is automatically down, since the links are not visible anymore.

For a good list of most available services: http://birnchen.ath.cx/index.php?s=list ... ile_Upload

greetings

Exactly. I have NEVER seen Multiupload down. NEVER. One of the main reasons I use it.

I dont link to Multiupload explicitly: I link to each and every one of the services that it uploads to. It is difficult that all of them are down at the same exact time.

Hmm... dunno. I always get redirected to multiupload.at. Maybe they forgot to unredirect it. For me personally - useless.

Even the hosters are not that much i care. 6? Mirrorcreator has much more ;).

Code:
62.212.66.130   multiupload.at
62.212.66.130   www.multiupload.at
62.212.66.130   static.multiupload.at

This fixed it for me.

greetings

@riach3, I dont do drugs, grow up! Im a 40 year old man, not a little boy! Since the Megaupload fiasco, Multiupload in the UK did not work at all, also the 2 mirrors on multiupload died, Uploadking and uploadhere, stopped working, but in the last few weeks, Multiupload have moved servers, and Now accessible to UK users now, there are a lot better hosters now, like Mickyfoley said, Mirrorcreator is a lot better. so get facts right fella!!!

Multiupload blocks the USA by just displaying a blank page if coming from the USA. If I find a share on multiupload, I have to use Tor just to get my internet connection to appear to come from another country, find the real link for what I want to download, and come out of Tor so I can download it. Can't really download from filehosts in Tor because you share an IP address with a bunch of other people looking for anonymity and file hosts will often allow only one simultaneous download, plus Tor is too slow. So I really don't like multiupload.

We ALL have our favorite sites to download from, however, not everyone is ABLE to download from every site. Some countries, regions, even certain ISP's have sites they do not allow.

The person uploading the book you want may not BE ABLE to use the file host you would like. This is one of the reasons the ebook section requires two download links from two different file hosts - to give more people a chance at getting the books.

There is no ONE site that can be reached and/or downloaded to/from by EVERYONE.

Yes, the file host you like may be GREAT - where you are located. But for the next person, somewhere else, maybe not. Since the FBI cracked down on Megaupload, there are a great many file hosts that do not allow users in the U.S. to download from them. Yet, in other places it is not a problem.

As long as they are complying with the board rules as far as file host sites go, users can upload to whichever sites work best for them. But, here is something you CAN do. Try sending a polite PM to the user who uploaded the file you want and ask if they can upload to a site you CAN use. Most of the users here are friendly enough that they will at least try to help you in return.

And THIS just ain't gonna happen for the very reasons given above.
