We are gathering more feedback from our users. This feedback is important for finding areas of the site that most need improvement so I hope you will take a couple seconds to answer the questions. Each user will get 10WRZ$ for answering.

1. Which section do you use the most?
2. Is the site fast enough? If no, where are you from (approximately) and what kind of internet do you have?
3. Do you find the ads annoying and/or excessive?
4, Would you say there are a lot of spam posts on Mobilism?
5. Any other opinion that you would like to give?

Thank you.

1. Android>Software Releases & Game Releases. I never go into any other section.
2. Usually its fast but sometimes it takes forever to load. I have FIOS in NY.
3. Just turn off the ads for members. I use adblock so most get blocked but there's only one that really bothers me because it takes over the whole screen and I have wait 8-10 seconds to "return to mobilism.org". That ad definitely needs to be shot. I love this site but when that ad appears, I leave and go elsewhere.
4. Spam posts are under control, IMO. You have to expect spam posts on public forums but its not out of control on this site.
5. Awesome site, despite the excessive ads. Keep up the good work!

1. I use the Ebook Magazine section the most.
2. I find the site is fast enough. I have broadband at home.
3. The adds are excessive. The ones that block out the search engine are very annoying. I am forced to go to the site 3 times before these adds disappear.
4. I don't notice spam at this site.
5. I have tried to post a couple of times. Just to give back a little. But it's so complicated to do so. And the rules far too strict. The site is run like a strict boarding school and is not user friendly enough.

1 - Windows Mobile & Gps Navigation (Pda)
2 - Yes
3 - No, but I use ads blocker
4 - No
5 - a first, pinned post with all app in each category (index) (for example in Board index » Device-dependent » Windows Mobile » Software » Software Releases by Category » Calculators:

first post like this:

...
Fizz Bill Now
FlightCalc
FlyBy Fuel Timer
.....
PocketStatics
PocketXchange
PointCode Converter
...

Maybe using a post like this the apps names become standardized and easier to find in search or in sorted topics

this site could be a great site, but as one who tried sharing here and who spent 4 hours a day looking for books that people requested, I finally had to give up.

you have too many nonsensical rules about the formatting of posts, requests that are fulfilled are deleted because the formatting of a post is wrong. Whats more important fulfilling a request or acting like the post police because it gives someone a power rush?

I came here wanting to be a valued member of the community sharing books I buy and discover in my searches. but what i got was a never ending stream of nit picks. I share at several; sites, but this is the only one where i feel so frustrated by minutae

its sad really but people here are more interested in finding things to be critical about than they are with sharing and tonight i just decided I dont need the grief,, hopefully others will take an interest in fulfilling requests, but as of this moment Ill do it elsewhere, Im not any ones pinata.

but when a moderator will delete a post fulfilling a members request, simply because the post doesnt exactly meet his personal criteria, then it becomes a power trip, if the mod is too lazy to fix it then let it be, the intention is to help satisfy members needs, not to give a moderator an ego boost. it truly is sad that some people dont realize that

and before a mod goes off talking about the extra work let me ask, just who does a request being fulfilled hurt even if it doesnt include a break tab in it?

imagine that deleting a post that another member or members requested, just because the post isnt formatted just like every other........ridiculous
