The How to idea is great. For instance, how do I block the porn links from showing when I ask for new posts. It might be in here somewhere but I haven't been able to find it.

I have nothing against porn but there are times when someone is looking over my shoulder and I have to explain that it's a part of this site.

I will add it as an option in UCP, so people have a choice. This will be done within 48 hours. Now should it be disabled or enabled by default?

I would not object to being asked whether I do or do not want Porn post shown. Once I choose, then it should remail that way until I make the effort to change it. Thanks by the way for addressing this issue.

A mobile PPCWarez release tool. Like Phex's tool, but for WM and/or iPhone?

Porn forum option has been added along with the device dependent forums. Enable/disable it the same way.

Tested, and it worked like a charm. Was not able to view any porn movie releases, but shouldn't it also hide porn eBook releases? I still have the ability to view them.

Oooops, I forgot about them. I will sort that one out too.

Edit:
Fixed! Now it doesn't display either.

On the "Device-Dependent" should be created a "Symbian" in order to discuss Symbian versions, Applications, Problems...whatever!
It would complement the 3 already available there...

Thanks for a Great Forum

Alertpay added, due to the way they process payments, you will need to enter an amount manually below the button before clicking it.

Make the links "View unanswered posts" and "View active topics" faster.

Current situation: When a user clicks the link, then a database search is executed. (or if the user is unlucky it has to wait a few seconds before it might try to search again). So it's slow (and sometimes annoying).

I'd suggest to optimize in the following way:
Execute the corresponding db query internally every 10 seconds, and store the results to a temporary table. Load this table when a user clicks the link.
Advantages:
-Less CPU load during peak times(*)
-No more waiting
Disadvantages:
-Update delay of 10 seconds for the latest posts

(*): I assume that these two links are clicked quite often, causing a lot of CPU load. Maybe I'm wrong - you might check if I'm right before implementing this idea.

When you click the link the query is executed and stored in cache. It only updates if it changes or 3 hours pass.

Can we have the "rate this topic" set at 10 by default, not 5? Or possibly not add your rating untill you actually select a number. Click rate topic, click number. I know I've accidentally rated topics at 5 a few times and I'm sure a lot of others have too.

Hmmm, good point. I set it at 5 originally because that's nice and central. I will change it to a blank shortly.
