The relation between WATER and the Albatross...A few days ago, the same day I guessed the substance we were looking for is water - nobody told me I had to explain how I found that - I discovered the link between an
albatross and
water. That water thing was haunting my brain in a way I was feeling so thirsty, that I finally overruled my objection against buying something 'because everybody does so', and I bought myself a
SodaStream drinks-maker. My first experience in adding gass to water are nothing to be proud about - you really have to follow the instructions, and that water level is indeed something to respect - but to be short it took a few wet towels and about two litres of water to finally end up with half a liter of soda-water. After that I discovered why large drink companies don't worry about those machines been sold, as after I added some
sirop to get some tasty fresh lemonade, I'm sure the original lemonades and cokes will taste twice as good as before... Anyway. The Albatross. I like to run. A friend called earlier to go running together, and it was about the time I had to leave. So I put my half litre of self-made lemonade in the freezer, so it would be cold when I return. Then we went running. After a few kilometers, the idea struck my mind that perhaps it hadn't been a good idea to put that bottle in the freezer, as it could be totally frozen when I got home. So I ran a little faster, not aware my friend didn't have the same condition as I have. When he noticed me I was running really fast today, I just said it was because of my new
NikeID I have since a couple of days. I explained him you can order those on the internet, have them designed as you like, and even have your name on them. When he asked me if my name was on the shoes I was wearing, I asked him why he didn't check it himself. So he lowered his head to get closer to my shoes, but! As we were running very fast now; and he was getting very tired, he step on his own tongue and hit the road really hard. I suppose they needed to fix him because when I left the hospital they said they would keep him there for a few days. I returned home in a hurry, to find out the lemonade wasn't frozen yet. Phew! When I opened the bottle, I had a small doubt whether there was still enough gas inside, so I decided to add some. Jee... how smart I looked a few sentences earlier, when I told you to follow the instructions... if I had read them till the end, I would have known you never may add gas to a nearly-frozen liquid. The result was terrible. There's a storm harassing our country since a couple of days, and previous nights I've been lying awake in my bed, anxious about the roof would come of. I never expected my roof to be blown away from the inside, by a gas explosion from the drinks-maker... And how unlucky was the Albatross who was just flying by that moment. A roof hitting an Albatross in his flight... is like a riddle being solved before it was created...
So that must be the relation between the
water and the
Albatross, I think.
No, but did the newspaper headlines readQuote:
Albatross stoned with roofies
