Forum for hire...Very well. Now we have an owner for the android section (granted
here), let's find out if there are other sections that carry user's interest. What would you think about becoming the owner of the
BLACKBERRY section for a month? This section was created in March 2011, and has grown with an average of 41 topics each month. Anyone owning this section could see his/her WRZ$ account grow according to the topic growth during one month.
Now, wait a minute. I know BB isn't such a popular section, and, yes, the topic growth isn't that high compared to other sections like iPhone or Ebooks. That's why I'll introduce a coefficient, to make equal benefit chances possible for all topic owners... The coefficient is related to the average growth of topics since the creation of the section, compared to the average growth of the most popular section: android. Originally called the 'MoToCoff' coefficient (Mobilism Topic Coefficient), but soon confused with the famous Belgian chocolate bonbon
'chokotoff' which brought already fortune to thousands of dentists around the world. Especially when you don't eat them fresh. Or when it's cold. That's why I simply call it:
MTC. It's the number the benefit has to be multiplied with, to compensate growth difference with most popular section. The MTC table can be found
here, and will be updated frequently. The android section has an MTC of 1 - of course - and BB section receives an MTC of
65,85. This means every topic posted in BB section will make the owner's account grow with 65,85 WRZ$...
Interested?
Please post here your bid to become the
owner of the Blackberry section for a month. From the moment the section-owner is designated, the topics 'increase' will be counted for 30 days. The 'owner' will receive an equal amount of WRZ$ as the BB topic increase, multiplied with the MTC.
Example:Number of topics in BB section at the start of the ownership: 650
Number of topics after 30 days: 700
Earnings added to your account: topics growth (50 WRZ$) X MTC (65,85) = 3292.5 WRZ$!
Regular bidding rules:- Every bid has to be 25 WRZ$ higher compared to the previous bid.
- You can not bid more than the amount of WRZ$ you own at the moment of posting
- The bidding period starts when the first bid is posted
- The regular bidding ends seven days after it started.
Once the bidding ends - seven days after the first bid - the
three highest bidders will be allowed to post a final bid by PM within two days. Then the (new) owner of the section will be designated. The bid amount will then be deducted from your account, and the 30 days ownership will begin. After 30 days, an amount of WRZ$ equal to the topics growth (eventually multiplied with the Mobilism Topic Coefficient) during that period will be added to your account.
Final bidding rules:- Only for the three highest 'regular' bidders after the seven days bidding period
- Send your final bid to Guy1731 by
, with BCC to Sherlockx for confirmation - Only send PM if you want to overrule the highest regular bid
- If you don't send a PM within two days, we'll presume you keep your last regular bid
Note: If for any reason the posting of topics should be obstructed – for example in case of a ‘site down’ incident – for one full day or more, the regular/final bidding and owner periods will be extended until the regular 7-2-30 days are reached. (With ‘obstructed’ we mean the impossibility to post or create a new topic in any section of the forum.)
Happy bidding!
