So anyway, most pics on contests disappears on the screen after, say 5 secs, on my PC, so I always have to quote the message and get the image link myself for another tab to display. Doesnt happen when I open it on my phone tho (Which I rarely do) . Is this because of some profile setting I have to change? Or is it just the way the posts are made? Is there any way I can get rid of this effect? Thank you!

Just out of curiosity which board settings do you use on your PC, Mobilism 2.0 or Classic? If you're using Mobilism 2.0 try changing your settings to classic and see if it still happens then. Another suggestion, do you use an adblocker on your browser? If so try disabling it temporarily and reload the page see if that makes a difference.

I've been wondering about the same thing ever since I joined. I don't use adblocker and I have tried different browsers. The only thing that helps on PC is changing to Classic. Otherwise it's quite impossible to play something like Word Scramble because the random letters are usually gone in seconds.
But I still love this place and the contests.

I will look into it but nobody else I have spoken to has had that message.
But see:

My browser is telling me that "The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite" or that or that the page is not on a secure connection.
Both Mobilism and the downloader are secure, but work in separate parts resulting in your browser marking the single site you're browsing from as insecure. The site consists of two parts when you're using the premium downloader- one is the forum (forum.mobilism.org) and the other is the downloader (mblservices.org). However, when you browse you're only browsing from the one URL, forum.mobilism.org. This results in a contradiction of the same origin policy under which https operates: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-origin_policy since there is a foreign script from a different domain being introduced into the page.

You can test this by going to https://forum.mobilism.org/index.php - it will be marked secure by your browser.
Then you can try opening a topic and using the downloader - it will be marked as insecure.

Both servers and websites are operated by us so there is nothing insecure about it. However, your browser is not aware of this and as a result warns you.
