Update procedure....

...::: hp iPAQ hx4700 WM6.5 ROM Update by Spiaatie :::...

* Folder Update_SP_Roadster_v1_C_ENG must be in root - C:\ or D:\ ect.

* Example - C:\Update_SP_Roadster_v1_C_ENG



...::: Windows 2k / XP / Vista - Update Procedure :::...

* Enter iPAQ into bootloader mode.

* Push these buttons to get into bootloader: Contacts + iTask + Reset!

* Connect usb cable/cradle.

* Launch UPDATE_TOOL.exe and select spiaatie_wm65_hx4700.nb0

* ROM should update now.



...::: Windows 7 - Update Procedure :::...

* Open ROM folder, find Vista_Drivers.exe.

* Right click on it and Properties, then Compatibility and set to Windows Vista - OK.

* Now launch Vista_Drivers.exe - New usb drivers will be installed.

* Enter iPAQ into bootloader mode and connect it to PC.

* Launch UPDATE_TOOL.exe and choose spiaatie_wm65_hx4700.nb0

* ROM should update now.

After update make 2 (two) hard resets: Contacts + Messaging + Reset with stylus

I have downloaded the wm6.5 and installed it successfully without any issues. I am also using a 16GB SDHC using a CF SD/SDHC adapter. Using the built-in SD reader cannot use SDHC.

Thanks for the info, SDHC is minor problem I guess.
I found few reports that sound does not work right.
Will do mine on weekend, first to check is battery still holding enought capacity.

Also advice is to use "Ramdisk" app for getting better results vith RAM.
