Installation Instructions

1. Unrar the content of the archive onto your SD Card or device's internal flash drive
2. Open SYS.TXT file located in your IGO8 directory and add modify it as per the code below (for users running iGO from SD Card no modification's needed)
3. Launch the application either from the File Explorer or create a Program Shortcut (using i.e. Totalcmd CE)


NOTE: Not all devices use "Internal Storage" to identify it's internal flash drive. Especially users with localized versions of WM OS must change the Internal Storage name as per it's translation to local language i.e. Internal Storage in French version of WM6 will be "Stockage Interne". Check this with your File Explorer prior modifying your SYS.TXT

not working here, tried with HP ipaq 214 and HP ipaq hx2790, always get FFUIERROR: Parse error [</layer> expected]

Some important things you need to know:

- DO NOT enable menu animation as that will cause the software to crash while exiting the application!!! This is a bug introduced by NNG in these new 8.3.1 series and is present even on original PNA devices!

- the included license checks for SD Card presence! So users with devices not having an SD Card slot (i.e HTC Diamond), DO NOT use that license! Download the 8.3.1.54384 version package from the opening post and use the license from it.

- NNG has redesigned the data.zip structure for 8.3.1 series, so the skins from 8.0.0 version are no longer compatible. Please bear this in mind

Nice release but Where are the maps? Must download everything?...so I need at least a 2 Gig microSD card...?

i manage to start on hx2790 after few trying....
inserted card from hx2790 to hp 214 and start no problem this time....

also one thing before all this.... when tried install, setup nonstop repeat message: this application is old...
i copy igo8.exe and rename to application.dat and no this message in setup....

Is it possible for someone to upload the maps for each region seperately, as i'm only after the UK and Ireland maps and don't really want to download 1.8GB just for 100mb or so i'm after? Thanks

you dont need an 2GB Card just remove the maps you dont need

If possible to add resolution 240x400 and 400x240 in data.zip

I live in Spain, and am on a really slow 256kbits/s connection.

Would really appreciate if someone could upload the spain, france and u.k maps as seperate files............
