hi,

with the igo amigo july 23rd release, when i enter in los angeles, ca in destination>find address using these maps, igo amigo remembers the city name and keeps it as los angeles the next time i goto find address. however, in canada, when i enter edmonton as the city name, i get reset back to calgary the next time i goto find address. does anyone know if there is a system setting where u can change the default city so i can have it stay at say edmonton?

Hi guys,

In my area iGO8 shows some street numbers on the wrong side of the street.
Here is what I mean. When I travel in one direction, the even numbers are on the right side of the street, however, the map indicates odd numbers on the right side of the street.
Is this a map problem, is it an iGO8.exe version problem, and is there a way to fix it?

Not impressed...the time left before arrival estimation is frequently wrong, and by a lot. 15 hours instead of 4! Few minor bugs but after a while, it's enough for me to look for another software.

What I found annoying is that on the freeway, the signpost keep popping up for every single exit! I mean, they're suppose to help with lane assist, but I think I'd know not to exit some random exit without TeleAtlas telling me. Is there a way to keep the signpost to only popup on freeway interchange?

That said, I think that TeleAtlas is routing better for me around Los Angeles, but it may just be me. Gonna have to see how the next few days will play out

It makes a medium speed from previous routes. If you'll speed-up, it will reduce the time left before arrival accordingly, and if you'll slow-down the time left before arrival will increase.

I thought so. I resetted the travel from scratch while I'm driving at a good speed -thinking it would make the calculation based on that same speed but it did not work better.
I looked for others GPS and I have to admit I stayed with iGO for its beautiful maps and other interesting settings.

i seem to be having a strange problem. every time i go to settings - device, and change power management to anything other than "use device settings", i lose the ability to input text when finding an address. for example, if i go to stree name, i start getting a bunch of weird looking "a" characters poping up in the text box which eventually fills up, and i can't press anything. once i change the settings back to "use device settings", everything goes back to normal. can anyone confirm this bug? any solutions?
