I've found a problem with some of these add-on voices when used with lastest TomTom & maps.
e.g.
1. the message is not synced correctly with what it should be
as in ladynewsreader says "if possible" instead on "perform a U-turn if possible"
2. It tells you to e.g. "bear right" instead of "turn right"
3. the phrasing can be silly e.g. " go straight across the roundabout.."
Caused a lot of confusion esp at roundabouts, so I've go back to using official TT ones which you can download using TT-Home for nothing.
The English one with the female Irish acccent (Kathy) is very nice.

Simple answer then is don't download them.

The person responsible for putting this collection together did it for those that want it, no-one is asking you to download them.

Stop knocking other peoples efforts you knob.

Would it be possible to put all the files into one. I have to keep waiting for a download ticket.

I didn't download them I already have all the voices there are. I didn't knock the poster but the author of the voice file.

I was merely pointing out users might have problems when they use them.

PS. many of them don't sound like the real celeb anyway. John Cleese is good though.

I really did try, but couldn't work it out better than I've managed here. Sorry. Still I only posted it here for the other members, and not for the warez points.

As to vroomfondel and my reaction, it was the second time I'd seen the post and I was feeling a little stalked by the guy. But it had been a long day. Had his initial comment been a little more like his subsequent comment, I'd not have reacted in the same 'hard' way that I did.

To the poster that wants me to upload all voices as a single file? I am not responsible for the initial upload, so this would mean that I'd have to download them and then upload them for you. Sorry but this I'm not going to do.

Well it's fine you don't post for the reward, but all releases must be posted according the sticky. We need all releases to be cleanly formatted for the site to remain what it is supposed to be. Please edit this release.

It's not that hard, just take a look at other releases. Main thing is to not underline everything, add a TT image, add a proper More Info link

I did wonder about the underline, but as it was added by the template I thought maybe it was correct. Its not something I'd normally have done as I feel it makes the posts harder to read.

I came across a RAR file on Megaupload with 54 of the voices mentioned in post #1.
It is not all of them, but it is a start.

Check the .vif files, because a few of them are incorrect.
E.g. data40.vif points to data92.chk which is not included in this archive. Edit the .vif so they point to the correct .chk

This link is taken from the same site by the same guy NickNack as mentioned in post #1, so no wrz$ for me.
