Overview: Gwen Dylan is a gravedigger in an eco-friendly cemetery… and a zombie detective. Once a month, she has to eat a human brain – both to keep from going all "Night of the Living Dead," and to keep her own memories intact. As a result, Gwen's mind is crowded with the dead person's thoughts. And lately, she feels compelled to fulfill their final requests. Torn between a mysterious mummy and a dashing young monster-hunter, Gwen is set for adventures beyond imagination! This is a Vertigo series put together by Chris Roberson (Cinderella: From Fabletown with Love), Mike Allred (Madman, The Atomics, X-Statix), and Laura Allred.

The series is a horror and dark comedy hybrid that deals with the daily life of Gwen, a young woman who rises from the grave as a zombie, who maintains her memories, humanity and non-rotting appearance all well enough so long as she occasionally digs up a recent grave and eats somebody's brain.

Gwen and her best friends, a ghost and a were-terrier deal with life, love and boredom in a town filled with vampires and other supernatural monsters, as well as those who would hunt them down.





I, Zombie TV series
Starting 2015, The CW is launching a new zombie themed series entitled, iZombie, this fall. The show is based on DC Vertigo’s iZombie comic by Chris Robertson and Michael Allred.

This new zombie television show stars Rose McIver, Rahul Kohli, Malcolm Goodwin, Robert Buckley, Nora Dunn and David Anders.
