 News and facts on the mobilism COMICS front... News... What's on June 2011.Well, there's new rule around Mobilism.org.:Starting May 2011,
- If you want to make a new release You have to upload your book's cover(s) to images.mobilism.org. Wheater it from your local disk or from other site (use remote option) and with size 240X320 would be best to fit. - If you make an update to the opening post, such as adding new issue or make a new mirror please click the report button when an update is posted, it'll make us more easier to recognize and respond. - We have two weeks left on May 2011, but we have fans for Donald Duck here, Well, looks we have to give an incentive so Double Reward for Donald Duck Comics during two weeks until June, 01-2011. And This is not a Rule, But an Advice:- In case you should have a comics not yet released on this site, and it's part of a series, it doesn't have to be the first issue of this series to release it. For example, if you find vol 2 of the series "Jay's incredible adventures in the most crazy section of the site..." and that series isn't yet released on the site, don't hesitate to post it. Comics-devoted members will appreciate and do their best to find the missing volumes should there exist, and comics mods will add them to your release post.
- To the future poster, Please add a sample page below the cover image if you can, so member can preview the contents of your released. You can make post(s) and comment(s) on (almost) everythings about comics or authors, Disscusion any topics You want, share Your thought too.. and starting May 2011, I'll give You 10 WRZ$ each for three best comments (and will archieved as quote) to the opening weekly topic. ... FYI: meaning of symbols in release titles. Ongoing series: - O -Released issue(s) is/are part of an ongoing series, from which all parts aren't available yet to be released. This might be because the missing issues aren't published yet, or from which the scanned versions aren't available yet. Releaser of the ongoing series is kindly asked to keep watching for the missing releases to be able to complete the series as soon as possible. Visitors might be able to find - or own - missing issues. They are invited to post those in the topic: mods will add them to the release post and will reward accordingly. In order to get the series complete as quickly as possible, OP is allowed to promise a supplementary reward for missing issues.

Note: 'Ongoing' series might be one story spread over several issues, as well as standalone plots that only share the title and/or characters from the series, and thus can be read on their own. Complete series: - C - Release is composed from several volumes, which makes the series complete. From this series no more will be printed/published or made available to the public by the publisher. Eventually mods might give a bonus reward to those users that release a complete series. This will make releasing of complete series more attractive. Ongoing series (see above) which get completed should also be edited with the 'C' symbol. once the series is complete there might also be a bonus reward for the OP.

Speaking of rewards. I've seen some comments/replies from readers being grateful for comics posted. Remember we have a WRZ$ 'donation' system here that was build for that purpose. Some releasers might consider being more active if - beside the regular rewards - they 'feel' their posts are appreciated by regular members. Some WRZ$ may do. I don't talk for myself: I'm rich. Which brings to my mind we also should think once in a while about our mods in this section. Though they get monthly pay, it wouldn't hurt to donate them some WRZ$ from time to time... Don't forget they make everything work here and keep the system going in a wonderful way. If you don't want to reward a specific mod, a donation to the team head (Phex) will do the job. He'll reward his crew. Where was I? Single-shot comics: - S -Releases containing one single issue, without any intention from the author to make a second or more issues of it. Meaning it's a standalone story or revue in comics style that doesn't need any follow-up for updates. Also called 'Oneshot' issues.
An example can be found here: Hellboy - Conqueror Worm Note: These are no rules - I think personally there's already much to much rules - but a personal item allowed to add by ebook mods. Time will show if these come in helpfull and it ain't much effort anyway. We're here for fun, aren't we?  ..... Don't forget...There are different formats of Comic books released here. To view them on your WinMo device, you'll need device-specific applications:

For .PDF 'Documents To Go Premium' is where you go. OR you could simply convert (.CBR) to a .PDF file from any computer and that would save the hassle, and work on your device. cewatt wrote: ComicShelf was recently released. Where to find comics on the web? Double reward...We don't know how to get closest to 1500 with the numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 and 9, but we do want to get to that number of comics released on this site one day. That's why there will be a double reward for comics releases - and mirrors - untill the end of April 2011. (There will still be a 100 WRZ$ reward limit). Starting today... Happy releasing! Twenty Flemish Authors will receive some 7,500 euros each in 2011 as a supplementary grant for their work. That was announced by the Flemish Literature Fund (VLF). The VLF allows these rewards because of the high quality of the comics works and the tendency that more and more Flemish albums get an English translation.
Amongst these authors are new talents like Floris De Smedt, but also experienced artists such as Marc Legendre (Biebel of Waterland and strips) and Steven Dupré (known from the Sara and Robin series). -------------------------------------------------------------- Elseworlds imprint.Elseworlds is the publication imprint for a group of comic books produced by DC Comics that take place outside the company's canon. The first Elseworlds title was Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (1989) , by Brian Augustyn and Mike Mignola and edited by Mark Waid, which featured a Victorian Age version of the superhero Batman hunting Jack the Ripper, who had come to Gotham City. This title was not originally published as an Elseworlds comic, but its success led to the Elseworlds concept and this title was retroactively declared the first Elseworlds. The first book to feature the Elseworlds logo was Batman: Holy Terror.
