Science fiction aliens (A Starlog photo guidebook) by Ed Naha
Requirements: CBR reader, 75 Mb
Overview: This book, while somewhat outdated, has a lot of information on older models and mechanical special effects. No CGI here. But you will see photos throughout the book, color and black & white, of models, props, and sets. Everthing from Battlestar Galactica, The Man from Atlantis, Space 1999, Far out Space Nuts, Land of the Lost, Star Wars, etc. There is also a section on clay/animation. Robby the Robot and the Disney Nautilus submarine have sections as well. Overall, if you want to see rare and older photos of when science fiction effects were taking off, this is the book. It's a great source for model builders.
