        Book I: The Zodiac Child
Teenager whose people of Lives made its leader, the symbol of his resistance to Christianity, Jélami, Infante zodiac seems to attract many lusts. Between the self-appointed knights of the Apocalypse and the Missi Dominici, a religious order which aims to collect all the relics scattered around the world, a fierce struggle for control of committed power Jélami. One thing is obvious from reading this first volume: the new series of Thierry Gloris not escape comparison withThe third testament. Even more than other similar themes in stories, it reveals a real kinship with the series of Dorison and Alice. It would be regrettable as it is unjust to limitMissi Dominicito yet another series riding the wave of esotericism in comics.

Initially, it should do justice to the fluidity of the script, the story takes place without time or a sudden death despite repeated changes of time and place. In a well-defined framework, combining class with historical reality and fantasy elements, the characters seem to evolve naturally. Personality which reveals itself gradually over the pages, is also of great accuracy, far beyond the stereotypes they are inspired. The large number of actors does not in fact the writer to bring great care to each of them, suggesting a world where the role of each character should be of great importance and in perfect harmony with his past and his personality. Texts very neat finish to make the story exciting and enjoyable to follow.

The design of Benedict Dellac falls in step and makes each board a frank success. In a style that is not unlike that of Alex Alice, it remains less personal and a great homogeneity. To distinguish himself from his illustrious colleague, he opted for a more sober frame, traditional, and also offers the advantage of giving the album an atmosphere more oppressive. Here, no open spaces or views gigantic, but a scene made of dark corners and alleys. Even the battle scenes have the air of large paintings, but skirmishes where melee is dominant. The coloring of Anouk Bell manages to be light, another feature fully assumed, without dulling the impression of darkness that appears in most scenes. While it may be unfortunate not to receive a black and white, the album displays a graph that bias is paying off.

Without revolutionize the genre, in a less original thanThe codex angelicThierry Gloris carries withMissi Dominicibeginning of a promising series. Beautifully written and illustrated with talent, this first volume can be enjoyed in the hope of a sequel to live up to this beautiful setting on the palate.

        Book II: Death
Always in search of Infante Zodiac, regarded by the people of Lives as a living God who can protect them against the intrusion of Christianity into their lives, Missi Dominici continue their journey in a Middle Ages of great violence after obtaining the Countess Hilda von Altmark.

After the first volume in classic but well done, Thierry Gloris book a second volume that, in terms of plot, above all enables players to take their final position on the board and reveal their true nature. It's more in terms of graphics that innovation should be promoted. By long flashbacks adopting a cutting and a Waffle put colors in shades of gray, the authors reveal past life Wolfram, terrible warrior with supernatural powers. Divided into several sequences, these revelations avoid burdening the narrative. The writer reveals the different information and at her best against the fabric of history. The rest of the album, a visual standpoint, prolongs the bias and the quality of the previous volume, combining an attractive trait colorization light that gives the series its own identity. The scenes involved a certain occult power of a character different from the general atmosphere and add a welcome variety, reflecting the authors' desire to explore multiple paths when performing their work.

Missi Dominici therefore continues its merry way and won by a quality job, which is to be hoped that it stands out even more of the kind he revisits seriously but without the edge of madness which would give an extra dimension.
