Infinite Crisis volume 1-7 by DC Comics
Requirements: cbr/cbz reader or photo viewer.
Overview: Infinite Crisis was a seven-issue limited series of comic books published by DC Comics, beginning in October of 2005. It was written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Phil Jimenez, George Pérez, Ivan Reis, and Jerry Ordway. Each issue was released with two variant covers: one by Pérez, and one by Jim Lee and Sandra Hope.
The series storyline was a sequel to DC's 1985 limited series Crisis on Infinite Earths. It revisited characters and concepts from that earlier Crisis, including the existence of DC's Multiverse. Some of the characters featured were alternate versions of comic icons such as an alternate Superman named Kal-L, who came from a place called "Earth-Two". A major theme was the nature of heroism, contrasting the often dark and conflicted modern-day heroes with memories of "lighter" and ostensibly more noble and collegial heroes of American comic books' earlier days.
The story's plot was initiated when the superheroine Donna Troy died in 2003's Teen Titans/Young Justice crossover, Graduation Day. A 2004 limited series Identity Crisis also retroactively labeled[citation needed] it as a tie-in. DC officially began leading up to the new Crisis with a one-shot issue Countdown to Infinite Crisis, followed by four six-issue limited series that tied into and culminated in Infinite Crisis.

Overview: The 7-issue miniseries event that rocked the entire DC Universe in 2005-2006 - a sequal to the epic CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS. This 7-issue thriller is the one that was talked for months on end. Beloved charcters we've come to know, die painfully! And a threat completley unseen takes over the whole universe, as the Justice League is broken in pieces!

In the chaos ensuing after the unleashing of the OMACs on Earth, the Spectre's vendetta against magic, and the Rann-Thanagar War, four beings decide to try and save the universe: Superman and Lois Lane of Earth-Two, Superboy of Earth-Prime, and Alexander Luthor of Earth-Three. What resulted was the *Infinite Crisis.*

Follow up to the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths. And as such this title had a lot to live up to. Its predecessor was one of the most important limited series in the history of DC and reset the DC Universe by decades. "Infinite Crisis", the second in what was to become the Crisis trilogy (ending with 2008's Final Crisis) made a similar dramatic shift to the reality of the DC Universe, bringing back the Multiverse, killing several major characters, and introducing a number of new heroes and villains. Several other titles led directly into the double sized first issue in this series, which showed Earth on the edge of destruction by Lex Luthor's Secret Society of Super Villains.

At the same time, Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman met to discuss just how far apart they had grown. With the Earth - and the Universe - heading for destruction, some long lost heroes came out of retirement to help - Superboy Prime, Superman of Earth 2 and Alexander Luthor (sole survivor of Earth 3, where his father Lex was the only hero). As the saga continued, it transpired that Alexander Luthor had planned the crisis in an attempt to recreate his own lost reality. By the end, Superboy Prime had established himself as one of DC's most persistant villains; he had also killed Kal - L and Connor Kent, before being captured and imprisoned by the Green Lantern Corps.

Many others were changed forever. A new Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes) was created (replacing the deceased Ted Kord); the Spectre left in search of a new host body; and Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman were allies once more, paving the way for a relaunch of the Justice League of America in 2006.
