Hi Guys .. Ok I have got this Finean App, and the Ctack and the Aussie Map. All are working well. I have got the issue with the start menu bar still showing at the bottom of my WM5 Device screen. I have downloaded the Navi Loader and read all the instructions. However it is not very clear how to use it? Where do you put the files and how does it work? I tried putting it in the Navione folder and then executed it but I just get this ...

ShellProg:
\Storage
Card\NAVIONE\Navigator.e
xe does not exist

I have checked and I don't have a Navigator.exe file . . I have got a Navione_p.exe file which is the ctacked exe.
Should I re-name that file to be Navigator.exe?

Thanks for any help. :)

@Ford Falcon
Please find user manual in version 1.1 (NavLoader_v1.1m.rar). You will know how to configure Navi Loader.

Also, there are many sample configuration files in v1.1. You can use Finean_L.cfg & Finean_P.cfg (Landscape & Portrait) to configure your Finean. Just replace your "Navione_p.exe" in "ShellProg" parameter.

If you need Finean Icon for shortcut file, you can download new Icon.dll as follows,

If you want to update any icons in Icon.dll, as mention in user manual, download CFF Explorer and operate it as following image.

Navi Loader is not designed for Finean only, it can apply to most of navigator software or other applications.

Hope it is useful to you.

Thankyou Notfaker - I did read the instruction file but opened it using notepad. :x This was very hard to read and was a mess of letters and numbers. :shock: I have now opened the .WRI file usng Word 2007. I can now read and see the pictures easily. :) I will try to work thru it step by step but it is still not easy to understand. :? Let me try though .. i will let you know if I am successfull, I will give it my best shot. :roll:

Sorry to take a long time to reply .. I tried my best following the instructions but still could not figure it out . . so I gave it a miss for a while. :lol:

I have been using Finean Navione with the pesky WIN 5 bar at the bottom of the screen. I used it again today and thought I would try again to use NavLoader to get rid of it . . but again I have been tearing my hair out trying to get it to work. :oops:

What I need is a very simple step by step instruction on where to put the files, which ones to run, which ones to edit etc. If I can't get that I'll just have to live with what I've got .. :?

Regards Mike
