Swype v2.0.0 (Freeware)
Requirements: PPC WM6.1
Overview: Swype provides a faster and easier way to input text on any screen. With one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard, the patented technology enables users to input words faster and easier than other data input methods—at over 50 words per minute. The application is designed to work across a variety of devices such as phones, tablets, game consoles, kiosks, televisions, virtual screens and more.

Simply Trace a Path

The word “quick” was generated from tracing the path shown above in a fraction of a second, by roughly aiming to pass through the letters of the word. A key advantage to Swype is that there is no need to be very accurate, enabling very rapid text entry.

Key Features

* Over 40 words per minute on touchscreen devices
* Standard QWERTY layout
* Use a stylus or finger
* Ideal for Smartphones and Tablet PCs
* Multiple languages available
* Supports common editing actions
* Patented
* SDK available now!
* Single Tap Predictive Text for mobile devices

Nice release, brunoavrocha , thanks! Rewarded 5 WRZ$ for freeware. Category: Input.

You can update your releases score now! :)

@brunoavrocha: We completely edited your post to complain to site template rules, Sir. Please look at the differences and keep in mind for next time, will you? :wink: (Eventually, use one of our Release tools ).

Btw, can anybody confirm the version Nr. ?

Not tried this cab but: To set Swype as the default sip so that you don't have to manually select it each time after a soft reset (10 times a day for me) set this reg key:HKCU/ControlPanel/Sip DefaultIm to this {7D51A54F-14D0-4eda-AC8D-0AE175C344E8}, but copy the existing string first, I just pasted it into a note. :) (copy and paste from a post I made at modaco)
Double check the entry as apparently your phone won't boot if you mess up and you will need to hard reset....SPB Backup.

This is such a unique keyboard but WOW it's such an improvement on everything else. This app is well thought out and worth a shot. If you flash your ROM a lot this is definitely worth installing to see if you like it. Granted, it will take a couple of minutes to get the hang of it but it's so fun to use.

Thank you very much OP.

AGREED! Once you get the hang of it, wow, its so accurate even when you are not. I think I am actually starting to like texting on my pocket pc with no hard keyboard

Yes I'm curious if anyone who has used both Shapewrite and Swype will comment.
