Yes it's WVGA, it works on my HTC HD 2 so it should work on your phone. Make sure you paste the swype folder that you installed on your phone's memory to a new folder that you rename Program Files.
So that it's in the root of your phone's memory and in that root you have created the folder Program Files which has the Swype folder inside of it.

May it be possible to port wvga german Swype into a full working german vga Swype so I can use it on my TP?

I can't fit this myself. Allways get the " can't load german file " error.

Yes it's WVGA, it works on my HTC HD 2 so it should work on your phone. Make sure you paste the swype folder that you installed on your phone's memory to a new folder that you rename Program Files.

I keep trying it but it does not seem to work...i don't know why...it actually doesn not install anny "big sized file" anyware on the phone...

hi there, i've tried installing on my diamond and the cab installs fine (and the sip fits the vga screen) i keep getting the 'not for this device' warniing when i start swype. i've tried installing the txt file from xda but it's not working. any ideas?

I tried to install it on an Eten X800 WM 6.1 (VGA), at first start after soft-reset following message:
"The Swype package you installed is configured for another device and will operate with limited functionality"...

I can use the swype keyboard to type, but can only type in letter by letter, when I try to "swype" over the letters, it draws the blue line and just beeps. When I go to options, the drop down menu with the languages is empty...

BTW, I installed the LIA_IME_Swype_3_9_10_10_5032_0.cab...Just installed it, no further action...

Works fine on Touch Diamond 2 installed to main memory, it even remembers to use Swype as default if i turn phone off and back on again

Who did you manage it, that it remembers to be default?
I installed it in main memory, too, but I have to change HTC Touch to swype again and again!
I tried it by settings and everywhere I thoght it could help, but it didn't!
Any new ideas? How did you do it?

I just selected it and it uses swype for default all the time, try setting it as input method in your phone settings, if that doesn't work try sipchange, you can get it somewhere here on this forums I think, or at xda.
