Rooted my phone a few days ago (s4) and noticed that it reboots all by itself now and then. I think it's because I installed fullscreen.

@obbgroupshares

Kingo Root worked perfectly for me.
If you are on Windows, I can send you a rooting Win app which looks like this:

If you are stupid and scaredy cat don't root your phone. Stupid people needs to stick to their phone. As a certified genius such as myself rooting your phone increases its purpose itS usage but decreases itS lifetime. rooting is a double edge sword that is leaning towards the advantage more than ots disadvantages

I did with all of the Android devices i got.
For the newer ones just for access possibilities, to use Firewall and Adblocking, maybe Xposed.
For the older handsets to make them faster (disabling services via root access) or/and installing a prerooted custom ROM because it's the only way to update old Android version to some more recent version.

I am still confused to do it or not, its good to have Root but it even has the risk of bricking my device. So I am still in a dilemma what to do.

I'm rooting the device the first day I get it, it's my phone, it's ridiculous not to have root, that should be by default.
And about the warranty, my LG G4 died of some hardware problem, the device was rooted, custom rom and kernel, and they repaired it within the warranty (Germany).

I have not. Not because I didn't want to. My (current) phone is essential to my work. I couldn't risk having my phone 'down' or something going wrong with it as it would directly impact my ability to work even if temporarily. But when I get a new phone I will be able to continue to use my current one as a backup so I will almost surely root that. Or move to the new phone and root my current one instead.

If you use a banking app on your rooted device then other apps could potentially access the folders for your banking app due to the fact that you stripped that layer of protection away when you rooted your android device. I have not rooted and will not ever.

Yes. When the warranty period ended. Before that it was scary.

I used to all the time for every phone I had (mainly Samsung's). Since I got the Google Pixel XL I've kept it stock as it does everything how I want.

Yes. I like my phone light fast and no ads. Except for my last phone, it has locked bootloader. I believe I'll manage to unlock it if I choose to do so, but just don't have the urge like before. Maybe because it's fast enough for me now.
The ads are annoying tho, since I've been using AdAway on almost every device I own/ed.
