I have a Motorola Defy cell phone, rooted and upgraded to 2.2 Froyo.
It has an integrated mp3 player program, but it's not to my liking. So I tried several mp3 players and video players (PowerAMP Music Player, MX Video Player, MoboPlayer, mVideoPlayer, DJ Studio 3, Neutron Music Player). They play just fine (for a time), but after a while they pop a message that the trial version is ended and that I have to buy the full version. I've downloaded some of them from here as cracked or full version but apparently they weren't that way.
I'd like some help finding a good mp3 player that doesn't stay on trial version.
Another issue I have is with the video players. From time to time they stuck and when restarted it says that no SD card was found. I have to uninstall and reinstall them to get them to work properly.
Finally and most importantly, everytime I connect earphones to my Defy and start the mp3 player a popup message appears saying that "Multimedia station has started". I press the button to turn off the screen while the music plays, but it turns on by itself saying the exact same "Multimedia station has started". Some times this message appears if I turn the screen to landscape mode and/or when the mp3 player switches from one song to another.
I've noticed this "Multimedia station" message appear only when I have the earphones connected.
It has become really annoying so I'd like some help locating this Multimedia station in order to disable it or uninstall it.
