I presently own SG SII i9100G & I am fully satisfied with it's performance !!

I would like an honest answer from a SG S3 user if it's really worth moving to S3 & Why !! 8)

Personally, I believe if you have the SGSII and you are happy with it. There is no need to upgrade to the SGSIII, unless you are a collector. Or a complete tech junkie.

The SGSII is a dual core CPU smartphone, which should last for a good few years as most apps won't utilises both cores.

Hey Ketani, I did not own a SG s2 but I got the SG s3 for about 2weeks now and im really satisfied with it. DarkGuyver is probably right, if your happy with your current SG s2 then you should be fine, but if you can upgrade your contract anytime soon, you should take the SG s3 :) The picture quality, touch screen and sound is amazing on it. But I cannot compare with the SG s2 as this is my first SG S phone :)

Have a blessed day

Yeah, henchman is correct on that part too. If the cell service provider is going to offer you a SGSIII for free along when you take out a new contract. It would be a good idea to upgrade. The SGSIII is probably the smartphone of 2012 anyway.

hi Ketani. I agree with 1st reply from DarkGuyver.

I've bought S2 2 month ago. And all I knew about S3 were roumors. But I had to give a shot. So I give phone back hopping rumours were right about the S3 realease dates. Now, for a diference of 100€ I would prefer the new flagship.

But I have to be honest, the 2 weeks I had S2, I must say I was pretty happy with the device. Super fast, fast browsing, fast steam, excelent.

So, all I'm trying to say is, if you are about to buy a new phone and you want to decide from S2 to S3, well, if money isn't a problem, than buy S3 for sure. If you have already a S2, no need to make the change, only if you are some kind of a tech geek...

SGS3 could possibly the smartest phone of 2012, in terms of comparison with other models in this class. But I found many users are complaining about it's material quality, specially it's back cover. Too cheap looking back cover for this kinds of thing (Pls. see the back cover of exploded SGS3).

And it's explosion news is also a great matter of thoughts. After so many days, Samsung should clear the explosion matter to public. I'm attaching some pics of exploded SGS3 from a blogsite (http://perfectnewgadgets.blogspot.com/2 ... s-iii.html), I've read the news.

Finally , i purchased GS3 & you know what ..... It's simply amazing....No comparison with my poor old (yet nice) GS2 ...!!

The UI , Home-screen look , battery life , processor speed ... everything is way better than GS2 !

The "exploded" SGS3 was proved to be scam. Dude dropped his mobile to water and tried to dry it in the microwave - that's why it's exploded.

Personally I'm staying with my SGS2 and waiting for a new Note. SGS3 disappointed me a little, thought it would be more a breakthrough, like SGS2 compared to SGS1...

I tried to handle Note N7000 but too big for one-handed use & so finally gave it back !! Note 2 is supposed to be even bigger (slightly) & so it was out of question for me waiting for it & so the best choice was S3 !!

Well I'm looking for something between tablet and mobile with ability to make phonecalls (probably with bluetooth headset, doesn't matter really as I mostly use it in a car) and use of mobile internet plan I have. SGS2 was fine to browse the web at first, but for bigger sites or more complicated excel worksheets it's just not enough.
Note is the biggest device I can still fit in my pocket and I don't want to carry a tablet pouch everywhere...
