Hi,

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab with Sprint's 3G service. I was wondering if there are any hardware constraints that do not allow my tab to make voice calls or if it is something software-related that Sprint has added. Basically, I want to use my tab as a phone!

Thanks

Try acrobits softphone... it allows you to make SIP calls and works with Google Voice flawlessly. Other than that I believe its a software restriction

I work at the phone company. Usually if you get 3G simcard for the tablet, phone companys offer DATA-only solutions, that means that you can use internet and send text msgs, but it is not possible to make a phone call.
I think this is the issuse in you case. Contact the phone company where you've got simcard and ask them.
