I think the stock music player, which comes with the SGSII is good enough.

UberMusic is good, but when you have like... about 500+ songs, it's hard to scroll down on it.

Why not unsing SONGBIRD.

It has a playlist feature comparable with iTunes (the whole app looks like a iTunes clone).

The best feature is:
When you install the desktop version, it can sync (one- or two-way) your music and playlists with iTunes and move it to your android device (or when you do not have iTunes installed you can use Songbird as a 100% iTunes clone). ;)

Device: Tester for: Asus Transformer ICS, HP Touchpad ICS CM9, Samsung Tab 2 7.0, Blackberry Playbook, Apple Ipad 2, Samsung Galaxy S3
I have 2 Android tablets already but just got a Galaxy S3 coming from a Blackberry Torch 2.

In the Blackberry media player, I can MUTE a song using the hard buttons on the device so I don't have to look at the screen but only need to feel for the button.

Is there an android player that allows me to assign the volume button or any hard button to act as a mute switch ?

Thanks

just fyi... soundhound isn't a music player.

jetaudio is really good.... but I primarily use google play music. I don't wanna store much music on my phone... I prefer to use space for more important media files hahahah

Im not looking for a player that connects to the internet. Im not looking for something to organize my files. (I like the directories that I put them in :) )

Im looking for something like Resco audio recorder, where I can click on a directory and play the files with the option of an auto play next, without having to deal with playlists.

which one would be recommended for me?
(something nice of course)

I use Zplayer, Winamp (because I like it's wifi sync plus I use the desktop app), N7player and PowerAmp and I've got to say PowerAmp is by far the best. Great sound, especially if you use the Beats Audio drivers installer

N7 Player is the best. No doubt about it. It has the best UI.
