Will there be a Update with Pandora v4 with Unlimited Skips?

Let's hope they didn't patch the workaround that has been used...

Seems like they try to play audio ads a lot more often now. They are still skipped, but the blank ad page appears almost every other song.

beat me to it. Lol Just got back from a vacation to Hawaii! Well hope you guys enjoy. I updated the O.P. with the latest (4.0) patched by me. I also zipaligned this one. I'm confident that mine and AsX's are close to identical though, as we have the same source for these.

Hehe... not anymore! I got a little tired from these silly empty screens between skipped audio ads, so here is a mod that attempts to completely remove them.

Warning: Test only version. See if you find any problems.

How the hell is there a version 4.0? There hasn't even been a v2 or v3. The last one was 1.7.1!

Really? I thought the Android app had surpassed the iOS one already.

Any chance this could be modified to allow track data over bluetooth / avrcp? This guy https://github.com/loganakamatsu/PandoraAVRCP seems to have a solution but I'm not sure if it would work with this version...

Interesting idea. That certainly would improve the in-car experience for me! Thanks for pointing this out.

Seems to be working fine...

Only issue I've found, is if you have the artist info showing (click the 4way arrow icon thing)... Sometimes the text "shimmers" and vibrates, when the track changes, until you tap the screen

I'm still having the issues where every two songs or so, a song will start, jerk a few times like a skipping CD, then skip the whole damn song entirely. Even on 6MBps WiFi. It's pathetic. Free version does it even more often. And it's been happening on this phone with various ROMs, too.

What's AVCRP?

Its explained in the link I provided. Basically, it allows the song meta data to propagate to the screen while streaming over bluetooth. Several Android audio apps are supporting this at this time as well as the Iphone Pandora app so it should be possible. As lowfive pointed out, it makes the in car experience MUCH better, dare I say tolerable...

Oh, so the car stereo will display artist and track names? Nice. I've seen stereos on sale that advertise "Pandora integration" or something like that, so I had figured that's what it meant.
