I suppose I'll give it a shot then, no harm anyways as I have a backup. I'll respond back if it quits working.

So far so good, I froze ROM Manager Premium License 1.0.5 and had to uninstall the previous version, 3.01.6. Checked a premium rom to download and it appeared to be ok. The true test will be a scheduled automatic backup, which last successfully worked with version 3.0.1.4
Time will tell.

At one point, with these app developers getting ahead of the cracks, I just have to stop and think, "Is there REALLY a need to upgrade to the next decimal point when this particular app works just fine?".

I don't always upgrade versions for just this reason....ROM manager wouldn't work unless upgraded, though.

Since I don't have credit cards or checking accounts, I can't purchase apps. Thanks a million for this one!

Motorola Droid working fine!

I had a hell of a time uninstalling the older version. Had to do it via market finally...at first I had a bunch of odd reboots. No clue what that was about but so far it's working so much better than Poweramp lol.

Open ROM Manager.
Open settings.
3rd option down, automatic backup.
Ticking this option will then pop a separate backup time window, then another for the number of days to perform the operation.
